Awww...what a sweet Chris Farley looking little thing.   ;D

I can't believe in reincarnation, because I've seen too many babies that look like Winston Churchill.

This is someone's child you all are talking about.  I don't find these comments funny.  You all should be ashamed of yourselves. :(

Sorry to offend you, Rene. For my part, my intent was light-hearted.

That really is a cute little girl.  And, I agree with you, Rene.  We should never laugh at the expense of another who can't help the way they look (you should see what I look like in the morning sans make-up.  It's not funny at all -- it's downright scary!  I removed my comments (even though they were hysterical) upon further reflection.  Thank you for setting me straight, Rene. :)

There are only a few things in this world I regret. One is I made the remark to a friend that if those two had a baby, man it would be one ugly kid. That baby ended up being my granddaughter. The reincarnation of Chris, Funny. ugly baby comments not funny.

Well, it's not the little baby's fault she is so ugly.  She was born that way.

It's not the mother's fault.  She looks like a major babe.

I blame the father.  He must be super ugly.

Actually, God is responsible.  As Abraham Lincoln said, "God must love ugly people since He made so many of us."

ug•ly \"e-gle\ adj ug•li•er; -est [ME, fr. ON uggligr, fr. uggr fear] 1 : frightful, dire 2 : offensive to the sight : hideous 3 : offensive or unpleasant to any sense 4 : morally objectionable : repulsive 5 : likely to cause inconvenience or discomfort 6 : surly, quarrelsome

That child is none of these things to say the least. There is nothing lighthearted about called a precious little child ugly, and to find humor in that questions ones sensibilities. Come on people our humor should not be making fun of other people.

For the record, Chris Farley was a comedian, but a tortured soul, who died a sad death (at 32?) from a drug overdose.  I hope his relatives, or the relatives of that little girl, never see this post because if they do, ya'll are in big trouble with the "thought" police.

This is just mean:  http://youtu.be/O_6vhgSAhuI

p.s.  Jesus wasn't good looking either.

Gina,
Reference Jesus' appearance.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. (smile)
The spirit of God shines through the physical appearance of those sent.

Romans 10: "And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"

Who cares if the One who preaches the glad tidings of peace has gorgeous feet.  hehe

iBob, I know ... you were just joking with me.  But let's be clear:   that is speaking symbolically/metaphorically, not literally; any messenger who brings the gospel of peace will be considered beautiful by anyone who accepts the glad tidings.  Whether they can literally see them or not.  Never saw Paul, or Jesus, but they're beautiful nonetheless.

But I was speaking literally, when I was thinking of this verse:  Isaiah 53:2  For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he has no stately form nor splendor; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

Tootles handsome!  ;D

O.K. Kat, I apologize.  The baby does not come under the definition you quoted.

I am using a slang version of ugly--that is the opposite of beautiful.  I consider myself ugly.

Men have a rougher sense of humor than women.  Also, it seems people nowadays are very sensitive.

It is also a good rule to use oneself as an object of a joke in order not to offend another.
