John Lennon sang more truth than Bablon teaches!

<< < (4/5) > >>

Kenneth Clark:
when i said wrong song i was referring to wrong message...when one listens to the lyrics and not to the tune you will clearly see that the author was sending a message of human control of everything...if we could just all get along and love...yes it would be nice, but where is God and His will?  the song is about human will to change the world...good luck...Gods will be done

Kenneth Clark:
people who dont know any different would say "yea...lets change the world dude and make everyone see the love...its deceiving...its hollywood...its unbelief...its society today...we think we are gods and we live in our small communities and think this is the way the whole world is and thinks...wrong...john lennon was a grain of sand who influenced a continent of people with his vision of hope...but his hope was without God

Kenneth Clark:
man...my typing stinks...the message is there though

indianabob:
Friend Kenneth,
I see your point and agree.
The whole world including Lennon are blinded and without God's influence in their lives.
But there except for the grace of God is us, you and me.
So I tend to view these folks who are trying to make peace the wrong way, without God, are just the same as the folks in the Babylon of Christendom; except EXCEPT that they apparently are not fooled into believing in joining a Christian church, any Christian church is good enough, to avoid going to a mythical hell or being good enough to be set apart for a place in Heaven in spite of their unrepented sins just because they attended church every Sunday.

I have a grudging respect for atheist who look at religion and say bah humbug, it is just a fairy tale to convince immature children to believe and send in the money.

We are blessed, through no action of our own, to have been given a small window into the truth that tends to make us free from the fears that most of humanity lives with every day. That being the case I think we should tend toward excusing them for their ignorance since it was God's choice to delay their calling until God is ready to open their minds and hearts.

Hope you understand, regards, indianabob

Ah, to be free from the fear.. Yes, I needed a reminder of that. It does get frustrating trying to share the truths we have, so sometimes I tend to overlook some of the reasons we have the  knowledge that we do. Thanks for that, Bob.
