When did Christ die?
Kat:
Hi micah7:9,
This must be a spiritual concept of 'life' that you are asking about, but think about what you are asking... Christ is the only physical human being at that time that had LIFE.
John 6:57 As the living Father sent Me, and I LIVE because of the Father, so whoever feeds on Me, he also will live because of Me.
John 6:48 I am the Bread of LIFE.
John 6:51 I am the Living Bread which came down from Heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he shall live forever. And truly the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of LIFE.
If Christ did not have 'life,' what did He give up for this world?
John 10:15 Even as the Father knows Me, I also know the Father. And I lay down My LIFE for the sheep.
John 10:17 Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My LIFE so that I might take it again.
John 11:25 Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection and the LIFE! He who believes in Me, though he die, yet he shall live. (This was before His resurrection).
Acts 3:15 And you killed the Prince of Life, whom God has raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the LIFE; no one comes to the Father but by Me.
That Jesus Christ is, was and will always be "the Way, the Truth, and the LIFE" is the very backbone of what we must believe to know Him!
Yes indianabob, I agree He was "made lower," never fallen.
Heb 2:9 But we see Him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
mercy, peace and love

Just asking, but I understand ......John 6:48 I am the Bread of LIFE.
His LIFE was KINGDOM LIFE or am I wrong? He came "down" to life (chay) but he "lived" Kingdom Life, which no one was able to see.
Joh_14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
Mat 8:26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
Dennis Vogel:
Jesus was 100% human when He was born and died. He worked, went to the bathroom, got sick and hungry, and was tempted to sin, etc., just like us. There was no "kingdom life" when He was flesh.
He was alive before He became flesh and after His resurrection. And when He died, He was dead.

and THAT IS the TRUTH.
amen dennis, amen.

Well then just how did he preform all that He did, if He was just like you and me at 100%?
