A question but first a few reminders to set context:
- God does learn! See Ray’s video “where does God’s knowledge and wisdom come?”.
- God never demands from us anything He doesn’t possess himself. For example: “Love your enemies”. He does love His enemies. “Be patient”. He is patient, and went through some period of time He had to be patient, “making do” without something He wanted. So He knows what we are through on this Earth.
Question:
Did God go through everything bad we go through? For example: did God ever experience being rejected? I believe so, obviously, during the Old Testament (Israel). But did He experience it and learned about rejection before the creation? He could only have been able to during the OT then, since who would have existed before the creation that could possibly reject Him, right?
In that video Ray talks about God birthing Wisdom before being able to create the Universe. There is: acquiring things before the Universe. But then maybe He still learns and acquire new virtues, He's learning as His plan unfolds and history takes place? For example rejection and other things during the OT, and similarly a few more things during the NT times, and so on?
So He learns and then He teaches it and also demands it. Jesus said "love your enemies". But that's because Jesus in the flesh loved His enemies, and first God the Father practiced it during the OT?
Can't help thinking that Jesus crying in the flesh (over Lazarus' death) was a big deal and very important for the plans of the Father, and that. the Father and Jesus abolutely had to experience that first hand.
God bless,
Levy
