Can you identify??

I found this on the ground and have not clue what it is and it is bugging me.  Does anyone know?



It has a hole going through the stem, threaded at one end.  And a threaded hole in the base (left of the photo) And it is metal, feels like aluminum.

Your description isn't too clear to me.  It looks like a crank of some sort (kickstand?).  How long is it?

Craig:
Only about 3 inches long.

Gina:
Well that sounds like it fits nicely in the palm of a hand. 

I just love a good mystery. 

Plastic or metal?  Looks like it's metal.
