Hi Dennis AFTER manyl hours of intense study my blood would get clogged up not to mention muscle fatigue so I had to tear myself away from GODS WORDS and go for walks which was a hassel ! takeing me away from my new given passion and so I got me one of them electronic Bibles, being unable to walk and read my KJV, which kept me out longer, but then my eyes started takeing strain, being fixed on three sources, so I got one of them audio go-Bibles and hay presto, problem solved and I tell you what its great I pick up on stuff one tends to overlook  ;)

I listen to them many nights on TV using my XBox 360. Sometimes I fall asleep and wake up hours later and they are still playing. The book of Psalms is five hours long.

And I thought Xbox was for playing computer games how wrong was I.

5 hours of Psalms = 5 hours of awesomeness. I love reading or listening to those.

Many years ago I bought this collection. It included The Entire Bible on MP3 Format Narrated by Alexander Scourby " The Voice Of The Bible"
Plus 5 disc book of Psalms and Proverbs: The scenic wonders a video bible narrated by Alexander Scourby:  http://www.bible-media.com/
Plus an 11 disc video of the entire new testament. It has 22 hours of video and audio.
It is a great collection, but I still listen to Ray's audio's most of the time.
If I remember correctly I purchased it at:

I had the same collection years ago, but this is not Alexander Scourby narrating.

You are right. After listening to both versions side by side there is a difference, ever so slight. I consider myself pretty good with voice recognition but this one got by me. My bad, Bob

I wish I knew who is narrating. I asked the guy on YouTube but no reply yet. I'd like to get more chapters.

Dennis,
Check these out. There are two voices very close to what you are looking for and another Stephen B Stevens who is very good too.   Bob

After checking again, I don't think it's any of these but some are very good.

The person on YouTube finally got back to me and said it was Max Mclean.

He has recorded the NIV and KJV.

Google his name and bible and you will find more links.
