Much of the time I would like to quit my job. It's too hard and I'm tired. Then I see something like this and I'm reminded again how fortunate I am:

1Co 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Very moving. I know sometimes I get stuck in my own problems but I should be thankful for what I do have. Watching this does make me more thankful and more aware of the needs of others than of my own. Life could be a lot worse than what it is.

I join this post in thankfulness to God for all my blessings.
On past travelings I have had to sleep rough for days, and work on big ugly factories for short periods of time (had to plan my way out even when the pay was fine); I know it was just a glimpse of what people suffer for years, and I can assure that it's much worse to go trough things like that (like the videos) without enough spiritual strength to handle it. Still with time people usually can get used, even to very harsh routines.
One thing to consider is that we all have different resistance and capacity to handle different situations and God knows exactly even the number of our hairs.
I am a firm believer that spiritual starvation is much of a worse disease than physical (I am not saying we should not help when the opportunity is presented), just remembering priorities.
