Peirdut,
Sometimes I feel in the same boat as you were in, now. It truly is a miracle that God has rescued you from this, I pray he continues to bless you. Thank you for you inspiring story. God bless you.

Pierdut,
Thanks for sharing. It's amazing what God does in our lives to cause us to bow the knee. I've heard many stories that are very similar to yours. I met a Doctor once who had all this money in the world and did whatever he wanted and bought whatever he wanted but he told me... "I'm so miserable... I'm so miserable".
Even my own life... It wasn't about money or status persay, but I was sick and tired of being told lies... Nothing that the christian world that I had been so entreanched in for 15 years, teaching and preaching and laying on of hands, doing "good works". God brought me to the end of myself. NONE of it made sense, I kept hitting a brick wall when I'd get deep into Truth. God caused me to want Truth more than what men had to say, and I'm so, so grateful :)
So glad your back Pierdut :) God is doing amazing stuff in your life!

God kept me alive for a reason, and I'm sure that everything I've been through is for a reason. I wouldn't be the person I am today had I not experienced the things I did. There's just no denying that.

hi pierdut. i pulled the above section of your post and bolded it because i have been realizing this experientially myself. profound Truth that God the Father does everything for a reason, and we are who we are today because of the experiences of good and evil we have gone through in our lives. there truly is no denying that.
praises to our Lord and Saviour for His presence in our lives.
welcome back pierdut.

I liked what you said Pierdut. I identify with it too
At the moment I'm feeling a bit down so what you said greatly encouraged me.
I guess I feel like I'm in a room that I don't want to be in and the back door looks a good place to sneak out. Maybe what lies behind that door would be better but you know in your spirit that it isn't and you stay in the place where you are as that is where God wants you.
As Claudia mentioned there is a reason for being in the place that we are in. It's the place where we grow in Him, not the place we want to be in but the place we need to be in. There we discover who we really are and His love for us.
