I don't know what kind of job you're looking for, but maybe some advice from one of my college teachers will help.  "the job hunt can't be passive.  You have to follow up/present yourself to the point of nearly becoming a pest.  This shows enthusiasm and drive, which are important virtues."

Maybe the "wrong" job will turn out to be the "right" job.  God is working His will in your life, and sometimes, in an instance, something will change, and you will be on a different path.  Each day brings new possibilities!
