Hi, Everyone -

I'm new here and have just joined today, though I've been reading Ray's writings on his website off and on for about 10 years now!  I guess I first discovered Ray in 2004 when I was going through some terrible health problems and anxiety and I was worried about dying and going to hell.  In these ~9 years, I have been called and converted by God and have come to believe many of the things Ray has taught independently of reading it on his site (such as how you get "saved," the lack of need for "soul winning" and etc.).  My family is Baptist and my ideas don't sit well with them, which is no surprise.  They think I'm a heretic so it's important to me to meet like-minded people who believe the way that I do.  I hope to do that here.

I have not been in church for quite a while - really since I was a kid.  I have been in an abusive marriage for 12 years and have children aged 11 and 7.  My husband deserted us around 4 months ago to go to Colorado and do drugs.  He hadn't worked for around 7 years and still doesn't help support us. We're staying with my folks right now.  Things have been tough, but thankfully I have a good education and have been blessed with a job. 

I look forward to reading a lot more on this site and meeting you all!
