Just realized that I'd misquoted Claudia. Sorry.  Must have clicked something in error. 

my cancer was discovered by mammogram.  each year i have a digital mammogram.  technology has changed dramatically even in the 13 years since i had my 8 wks radiation treatment.  many strides have been made to protect the patient, as well as the technician.

I hope that's true.  Just recently I was zapped twice for a dental OPJ as the technician didn't get it right the first time

For lay people, medicine is really hard to understand and often we rely solely upon the advice of our personal physician, whom we trust next to God.

I found another interesting article that was just published recently in the journal of natural genetics. It talks about the details of drug resistance in breast cancers as discoveries by a few scientific teams have reported. It may be a little hard to follow with all the science jargon thrown around but I thought it might be of interest to you regardless of its difficulty. Its short.
