No, I've never met Gerald Derstein. The only time I've been to Christian Retreat was to do volunteer service after a hurricane.
(For those who don't know who Derstein is, he is the pastor of Christian Retreat, a HUGE church in Bradenton that also has accommodations for people from out of town/state. It's sort of like a campmeeting atmosphere that's open year-round.)
