Hello forum,

I grew up in the Worldwide Church of God and the family went to Christendom as I stopped attending any church when WWCG splintered. I moved out on my own and couldn't find a church home that taught the truth. I found Bible-Truths through a google search as I study to show myself approved. God inspired me to want more fellowship with like minded believers.

Glad your here and not in the church. I can't find one that preaches the truth either.

Jason,

I have been a moderator for 5 years now. There is no designated amount of time that is required, however, as moderators, we make an effort to visit the forum as often as our schedules permit throughout the day. The primary job of a moderator is to help insure that the integrity of the forum is maintained by encouraging members to adhere to the rules of the forum.

Hi Jason,

Welcome to the forum

I'm glad you have found this place and it's such a blessing to have a group to feel like minded with. I was in WWCG for 15 yrs and then I did go into Christendom for 10 yrs after it splintered. Though it was a tough course to go down, it was all a valuable learning experience and now I think I cherish the truth that much more.

Just join in to the discussions or don't hesitate to ask questions, it's always good to get others perspectives, I think it helps us all. i really think it's good for us to discuss these truths together, we all gain from it.

It will be great getting to know you.
I also came out of Sunday and Sabbath keeping churches.
I did learn a lot through those experiences and it helped me get where I am at today.

Hi Jason and welcome,

I was with WWCG 1969 to 1999.
Reared four children in that environment with various results.
They all still love and respect their parents and that is a special blessing.

I agree with others that it was a needed part of my growth.
We had to fall to the bottom before we would look up.

Thank you for sharing. It is a special blessing to have your kids love and respect!

I don't blame my parents for bringing me up in the WWCG which limited my involvement with friends parties, school parties, and dating. I was also though of as Jewish by a kid when my mom said I couldn't attend his birthday party. We know it was God who raised me through them and brought me out of great darkness! Hallelujah!!
