Would you like the world to be like you?
« on: July 16, 2014, 08:50:00 AM »

When we judge others we are actually saying to whoever is listening, why can't this person be like me, because I am not that way and I have never been that way.
Do we really want the world to be like us? Look in the mirror of your soul and see if there is anything in there that you just hate about yourself. Judge yourself and see if you want the world to be like you.
Could you live peaceably with yourself the way you are right now, In the flesh?
The canal mind loves trouble, loves fighting, loves being in darkness and if the world were like us, this is to say until God is finished with us, then the whole world would be living in trouble, fighting, and darkness, which if you look around you that is exactly what the world is living in. So, my point is that we are doing our best to live as God wants us to, but we still have some of the world in us, because we are still in this flesh and blood body, which demands attention and most of the time we yield to the flesh more than the Spirit.
So, would you want the world to be like you?

No.  Except in the ways that I would.

Thanks Dave In tenn  and Rhys for the feed back. I have really been searching myself lately and founding things that I know God is showing me about me. I would not want the world to be like me. My carnal mind goes crazy especially when I first wake up in the mornings. Sometimes I have to pray real hard not to be mad all day from thinking of the what if's in my life, but I know I am where God wants me at this time.
I pray God blesses you both with a warm smile.

Rom 7:15  For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.   <---- Me in a nutshell. So short answer, NO!
