What are your opinions on casinos. Being I live on the MS coast they have casinos here and I know lots of people that go to them. I do not gamble at them I work to hard to give my money to those places. I know people that work at them and there are many horror stories about casinos. Lots of drugs,prostitution,people losing all they have, etc. But I know some people that go every now and then just for the purpose of getting out and going to do something. I feel that they are nothing more but an upclass bar with endless amounts of money.

when i was in the army i was stationed in korea.  they had casinos in the px, well out back.  i had insomnia i used to watch people play for hours.  its helped me to sleep.  went a few times here, i dont have a answer.

I would say that you have answered your own question.

Yes, I realize that I answered my own question but I was wanting another opinion on it. I know people that are dear to me and I try to talk to them but they cant see the fault in it. I was just making sure that my thoughts on these casinos arent one sided and just my take on them. The  people that I do know I am very close to and I do believe that they are literally addicted to it. I believe it is a srong an addiction just as anything else.Just another lust of the flesh.

Sorry Kevin...I didn't mean to sound cold.

It is a stong addiction. I have been to casinos before and lost a few hard earned dollars. Personally, I think as long as you don't let it control your life, I don't see that much wrong with it. However, there are much better ways to spend your money.
