Florida Again

Read in the newspaper, A 90 year old Florida man has been charged for taking homeless people food. Arnold Abbott, who runs the group Love Thy Neighbour, was arrested for taking plates of food to homeless people at the beach in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday. One of the police said, Drop that plate right now, as if I were carrying a weapon, Abbott told the local 10 TV station. The city passed a bylaw recently that bans feeding the homeless in public, that took affect Friday. Two local ministers were also charged. All 3 men could face up to 60 days in jail or a $500 fine. Trust me, no one here wants to hear what I could say on this one.   Ricky
