Hi Ryman,

Ray most certainly believed that Jesus was God. I'll just add some witnesses that may have been shared already to this discussion.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

1 John 1:3 All things were made by him[JESUS]; and without him[JESUS] was not any thing made that was made.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 1:15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
John 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he[JESUS] hath declared him[THE FATHER].

1 Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

1 Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

1 Col 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in him [JESUS] should all fulness dwell;

1 Cor 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
1 Cor 8:7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.

"But to us there is but one God: The Father.... and ... Jesus Christ."
