Can someone explain
(1/1)
rick:
Can someone explain how to remove a topic link on this forum ?
indianabob:
Rick,
I think you have to graduate to moderator. ;D
Or ask the owner Dennis.
It is probably quite simple once one has the authority.

Dennis Vogel:
I think it's possible for anyone to remove their own post as long as no one has replied.

Hi Dennis,
I was trying to delete a thread that I had started but that thread had already received a reply and had received this message below when I had attempted to do so.
( You are not allowed to delete the first post in a topic.
If you want to delete this topic, click on the Remove Topic link, or ask a moderator/administrator to do it for you.)
When I had looked for the remove topic link I could not find one, is this an ability we members do not have or do we ?

Thanks Bob, I was lead to believe according to the message I received that I had the ability to remove the thread after it received a reply, it appears the message is somewhat deceiving in that it gives the illusion a member can delete their own thread whether the thread had received a response or not.
Perhaps life is nothing more than an illusion that hurts when one hits their head on an object......lol
