End of Days in Memorium

<< < (2/4) > >>

indianabob:
Hi folks & the_sign
If it pertains to this thread, I don't believe that Ray Smith was for setting dates in scripture. So what is this time table of Daniel all about?
The initial letter seemed a little ambiguous to my mind.

lurquer:
The letter is ambiguous; the time-table of Daniel is ambiguous.  Ray never spoke publicly about this timetable to my knowledge... But I'm still curious of these things since my end-times christianity of the 90's (still in recovery  ;) ).

Anybody here care to share their thoughts on the matter?

God gave me the understanding of the days mentioned in Daniel and Revelation.  But I cannot tell you since Forum rules do not allow teaching.  Sorry Neo.

But I will give you a hint.  The times mentioned in Daniel and Revelation are not literal but symbolic.

You must let the Two Witnesses guide you, Who by the way are also not literal, but symbolic.

Micah asked:  Where/how did the adversary's gender come from? Is there a scripture that identifies the enemy as a "he"? Been curious for awhile. Thanks

And John says:   The truth is that the Scriptures do not give us a detailed discussion or answer regarding the gender or sexual differences of angels, if any.

In the Book of Job they are called sons of God.  Elsewhere they have a masculine reference.  Any girl angels?  None mentioned in the Scriptures.

However, there is a Scripture that says the things seen (physical) can give us an idea of things unseen (spiritual).  One pervasive aspect of human kind and animal kind, and even plant kind, is the aspect of male and female.  God created them male and female.

Does that mean angels are male and female?  Do not know.  Scriptures don't say for sure.

Some will say that Jesus said the angels do not marry, which is true.  However that does not mean that angels do not have sex differences since marriage and sex are two different things.  You can have one without the other.

There are a whole lot of things we have to learn in the ages to come.

John is also of the understanding that Jesus Christ ate like a glutton and got drunk with His disciples, because after all a bunch of lying hypocritical Pharisees, whose father is Satan, said so.  Therefore, if they said that is what Jesus did, it must be true, according to John.

repottinger:
Thank you for the clarification regarding whether Ray had ever written on this subject, Bob and Neo; I really didn't think that he had, but I just thought that I would ask since the_sign brought it up.
Yours in Christ,
Randy
