Oh well.   When will it end.   That makes 3 family members.

2 Corinthians 4:

16Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

The Lord's will is done. This time; tough to swallow - but you will see light come from it.
You and your family are in my prayers Longhorn.

Longhorn - my heart goes out to you and your family.  To lose one family member is difficult enough, but to lose 3 must be very disheartening to your family.  I will pray for strength, courage and comfort from our Lord Jesus Christ for the mothers of these 3 and please know that for me personally, whether I agree with this war or not, whether I have removed myself from the governments of this world or not, I have much admiration and appreciation for the sacrifice of your family members which was given in order that the children and families of America can continue to live in a safer land.

Peace,
Layla

Oh Longhorn, I am so sorry. That hurts to even think about.

My youngest son, tim, is leaving for Afganistan on the 27th. Sorin, I know you met him and some of you others at the Marshall conference.  Please be praying for me (selfish mom) and Tim.  Tim is not a Marine anymore but he is going over as a bodyguard.

We just have to trust in God and His perfect Will.
Longhorn, your family will be in my prayers!
