Hello Brothers and Sisters, It is such a pleasure to be associating with all.
I've been reading brother Smith's writings on and off for a quite a few years now and haven't found anything I disagree with. But if something ever does bother me I'll be sure not to air it to the world.
I joined this forum to meet some others who agree with Ray's explanations of the Scriptures and to get encouraged and motivated to learn more and help others if I can.
I spent 9 years as a JW but that was probably 20 years ago. I learned a lot from them but just couldn't square the most important things with the Bible or my own sense of logic. When I started reading Ray's writings it was like gulping down water after being lost in the desert. I was very sad to hear of Brother Smith's passing,but I'm sure he'll be taking his seat with the rest of the chosen.
As I'm sure is the case with most on this forum I'm very busy. So please excuse me if I'm not present as much as I should be. I'm going to try hard though to fellowship every chance I get. 
I'm from North Idaho, it's very beautiful here. Thanks for reading and thank you to all who work to keep this forum running smoothly.

Welcome to the forum  :)
It is a great blessing to have this place to fellowship with other of like mind, and we can come here even though scattered all around the globe. I find that these discussions with all the other perspectives really help further my own studies, so I think it's good to have all the input.

Welcome to the forum Flanagan and thank you for taking the time to introduce yourself. :)

I also was a JW for a brief period of time many years ago.  Looking back, I can now see how necessary it was for me to take that journey before coming to this place of truth.  God's plan is perfect!
