G.I. Jesus?
Joel:
It stands to reason he had to have a beard long enough to be grabbed, and to rip the hair from his face.
Isaiah 50:6- I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
Joel
John from Kentucky:

Joel

It stands to reason if you rely on only one Scripture. I was aware of that Scripture, which is why I wrote, "if He had a beard." I do not no for sure.
We must have at least two Scriptures to make definitive statements from the Scriptures.
We have other Scriptures that say Jesus had nothing in His appearance that would make Him stand out from the crowd. A detail study of early 1st Century A.D. male fashion indicates that men wore their hair short with no beards. A bearded man would have stood out in a crowd.
But, also as I said, this is a minor point.
