Doug:
Thanks everyone for your prayers!

I do not post much because my knowledge and understanding is just lacking compared to others. However, every day I come to the forum and read everything. I pray for everyone here and deeply miss some who use to post a lot and now do not. I easily get attached to people, even John (I know he gets the humor).

God has given me hope. Dennis mentioned the zeaxanthin which seems like with lutein has the potential to greatly slow or maybe stop the progression. Astaxanthin and saffron look interesting as well. My wife has been a tremendous help thru this. She believes in God but she does believe in free will. However, she was the one that asked where is my faith in believing it is meant to be.

You guys will never know the love and my appreciation I have for each and everyone here! God has truly blessed us all just being here.

Hi Doug
Yes,we truly are Blessed , knowing that during our trials our Father is present with us. We always have Him to cry to in our affliction and what we have that so many do not is that we know for sure
that he’s in control of absolutely everything. He will make everything right. God Bless You Doug.
Pamela

PS,,,, I like John too 😁

John from Kentucky:
I just feel the love.  Bring on the dancing JFK.

Wanda:
Hi Doug,
Our experiences are similar... I lost my sister to cancer in June and my mother has dementia also.

Your faith is most encouraging and I'm adding my prayers to the many.

Isaiah 41:13
For I am the Lord your God who takes your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Doug:
Hi Pamela and Wanda,

Thank you so much for your prayers!  I will download the book you suggested. You guys are my family and that comforts me.

I know my Savior is using this to get my attention and bring me closer to Him...and it is working! At first I feared many things including not being able to one day read on Bible Truths and lose touch with everyone on the forum. God is giving me hope and courage. It is not my nature, it is God having mercy.

Today is my first day of retirement. At 63 and little education or skills it may be hard finding a job. I would like something part time since I have really no hobbies. My lovely wife is working at least another year to cover our health insurance.

Doug
