Trapped Children

(1/3) > >>

ZekeSr:
I would think that, by now, we all know about those 12 children and their coach trapped in a flooded cave with time running out. And there’s one brave soul who gave his life attempting to help. While I realize there is an unfathomable number of people and situations throughout the world in need of prayer, and I do pray for them, they could not possibly be addressed on this site, nor perhaps should they be as this prayer request forum is of a more personal nature. Nevertheless, for some reason, I can’t help but find a deep Scriptural analogy which compelled me to write this request:

Pray for those children and their coach in Thailand, for their families, and the family of the man who laid down his life for others.

Mike

Dave in Tenn:
Thanks, Mike.  Just so you know, I also sense this "analogy" and am trying to keep up.

John from Kentucky:
There is one and only one prayer that is ever answered.

The Father's will be done.

ZekeSr:
Thanks Dave. I appreciate the confirmation.

And yes, John. While I’m compelled to pray for these children, it includes, as always, “Nevertheless, Your will be done.”

Mike

Dennis Vogel:
Yea, but sometimes God's will scares me. 4 out and 8+1 to go as I type.
