Gehenna Fire

Just as God has brought many of us to our knees for the sins we have committed, so will God
bring this whole world to its knees. It will be emotionally traumatic and painful, but it will be a good thing. Men will be forced to look at themselves with open spiritual eyes and they will HATE
what they see. They will eventually desire with their own heart to be cleansed and rid of all these carnal ways.
And so Gehenna Fire has nothing to do with eternal torture but rather with eonian chastisement
and judgement for the House of God’s Elect now and for those who obey not the gospel of God,
In the judgement of Gehenna/ Lake of Fire , later.

“I understand how severe the trials and tribulations of life can be, but take heart, the purging fire of Gehenna is not for naught.”  Ray"....................caps are Ray’s.

I am now beginning to realize how this fire works.
Ray,,” Jesus uses the example of our eyes, hands, feet, instruments of offence all cut off in Gehenna Fire, Spiritually.”

This teaching is mostly about the tongue but the whole body has to be cast into the fire.
This judgement is really hard but I only have to live until I die. Thank God for His mercy
and goodness . I deserve none of it.

2 Peter 3:5-7
But by His Word, the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgement and destruction of ungodly men.

Rev. 20:15 & 21:8

The Gehenna Fire, Eonian Fire And Lake of Fire are all the judgement of God.These fires are all
the same ONE fire that comes from the same ONE GOD and our ONE GOD is a consuming fire.

Many of you probably know all this but for me it was a new realization about judgement and how it all works,we at BT are very blessed . These are perilous times indeed. It’s tiring sometimes but
Our Saviour Jesus Christ will rescue us. I pray we will all endure and overcome.


John 16:33
I have told you these things , so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

Beloved, think it NOT STRANGE concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some STRANGE thing happened unto you" (I Pet. 4:12).

Peter makes it sound as though going through fiery trails is the norm rather than the exception. The New Testament is filled with the fiery trials of the Saints.

Now I hope that none will be offended at my next few statements, but if so, so be it. Unless God Almighty through the purging power of His FIERY SPIRIT, is BURNING OUT the lusts and passions and vanity and haughtiness and greed and self-righteousness and laziness and weakness and hypocrisy and wickedness and pride and materialism and cynicism and depravity and carnality in your life, then Jesus Christ is not choosing you to reign with Him as the Sons of God in the Kingdom of God to bring all Heaven and Earth to repentance and salvation!

That's a lot to burn out, but more love than we can ever imagine is behind it all.~♡~

God is setting things right and as Wanda posted, burning away everything that is not from Him.

It is a humbling experience and the hardest thing I've ever and will ever have to go through.  Being His child is not easy.....but so worth it!

Oh the riches and glory of the wisdom and knowledge of God, His ways are past finding out!

Not only does Peter make it sound like the norm, James has something to say as well:

All joy deem it, my brethren, whenever you should be falling into various trials,
 3 knowing that the testing of your faith is producing endurance.
 4 Now let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and unimpaired, lacking in nothing.

Boy do I have a long way to go...........

“ and the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity “. So is the tongue among our members,
that it defiles the whole body,and sets on fire the course of nature; and it( the tongue)
is set on fire of hell(GK. Gehenna).

It is the “words” that are spoken by the tongue that will come into judgement.

Matt 15:18:20
But those things that proceed out of the mouth,come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders,adulteries,fornication,, thefts,false witness,
blasphesimes; these are things which defile the man.

Matt 12:36
But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account
thereof in the day of judgement.

Matt12:34
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance
of the heart the mouth speaks.

Jer 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?

Ray,,,,,” The apostle James proves all that Jesus said with regards to Gehenna hell fire.
How is the tongue set on fire by Gehenna? The answer is found in the whole chapter starting
with vs.1.

James 3:3
A literal very small bit in a horses mouth can turn the whole body of the beast with
very little effort.

Ray,,,”And James informs us that no one can tame this little monster called the tongue, for if he
could than he would be a perfect man and able to bridle ( control) the whole body



1Corth.13
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have Love, I am only
a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

For it is God’s will that by doing good ,you shall silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.
