Alexander Thompson - Scottish scholar

(1/1)

Wordsmaker:
You guys,

I have another question.  I was listening to Ray's teaching called, "Foundation Truths - Why Christianity is False".  In that teaching Ray mentions a Scottish scholar named, Alexander Thompson.  Ray stated that, "He said no etymologist has ever found a word in any language on earth, that meant that the word, 'ETERNITY',  itself meant endless time."  I'm wondering if any of you know where i can find anymore information on Alexander Thompson?  I've looked online and so far i haven't found any information about him.

Thanks,

carl

Dennis Vogel:
Alexander Thomson was a Scotsman and connected with the Concordant Publishing Concern. As I recall he did most of the original translation back around the 1920's and Ray liked what he did.

Here's one link but I'm sure you can find several others:  https://en.everybodywiki.com/Alexander_Thomson_(writer)

Thanks Dennis,

The fact that i had spelled Alexander's surname wrong might have had something to do with why i could not find any information about him.  I'll check out that link and then see if i can find out some more about him.

I'm grateful for your help,

carl
