Hiya all,

Yes, I think salvation is a process, I think it occurs over one's lifetime, a passage of time. We have experiences of trials and tribulations and of spirtual growth and maturity but we don't get all of that overnight. [well I certainly don't  :) ]

I already said in another post [the narrow gate] that since God lives outside of time,  the 'gate' with everything that entails, could represent the passage of time known as our lifetime, since to Him our lifetimes are like 'vapor'

It takes time to get through the multiple trials, tribulations, afflictions [thlibo] "...which is the way that leadeth unto life,..." Mat 7:14
