There are many, but one story I find interesting is that of Tupac, the American musician who was gunned down I believe in 1996.

Would like to know who killed him and the series of events and the likes. There are rumors man faked his death and that he is still alive.

You have a lot of questions. Here is the answer to all of them.

ALL IS OF GOD.

Have you studied THE MYTH OF FREE WILL yet?

You're the best, Pamela, and you ain't lying.

I used to listen to Tupac a fair amount back in college, and I still listen to him occasionally, but now I only listen to one song – Changes. I still love that song because in it, he describes his life and the lives of those around him as being impacted negatively by the circumstances they were raised in. Tupac understands it's a terrible situation, so he pleads with his brothers and everyone else that we need to make some “changes” because we're all in the same boat. The song is sad at times, but hopeful.

The man was a lyrical genius and the words flowed so smoothly off his lips. And the rhythm, the beat and back up vocals of that song are so good in my opinion, not to mention the catchy chorus line. Assuming anyone here likes rap, Tupac was as good a rapper as you can find.

I never got too much into the “who killed Tupac” conspiracy theories, as I thought he was much more interesting alive (if he isn't still) despite all his highly publicized shortcomings. I look forward to meeting him one day and asking him about what he thinks about the positive changes God has made.

Ray hated rap music. I don't blame him, as it is just full of immorality including the language. It corrupts our spirits and minds.

As for Tupac, man was a troublemaker and a drug dealer. It also appears he was obsessed with Jesus being black🙄

I like rap though, the poetry, word plays and subliminal messaging - love it. In fact,I'm hoping to be a king of rap one day. I look forward to meeting Tupac as well and show(teach aswell) him how to really rap. Jcole, Kanye west, Wu Tang clan,Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and all of them,I look forward to teaching them how to rap.

There is some nice hip hop jazz, clean stuff that is not immoral on YouTube. Just instrumental, no lyrics, you'll love it. Check it out. "Hip Hop jazz instrumental"

Port, one day I will show you my room, and it is gonna blow you away.

God is using music as well, after all, who is the composer of the universe?
All that we obtained , we obtained from God. Not one thing have we obtained
by our own presumed freedom of will . Can we take credit for anything that we
have? Is our own Will independent of Gods will responsible for anything?

See 1Corth: 4:7

Remember it was God who taught the angels to sing.

So with that said , I am not a fan of rap music but that doesn’t take away from
What Gods purpose for it is.
However I do love music and have been listening to one in particular who has
amassed millions of followers. I do believe God has added another note to the scale
with this young man. Also it seems to me that even though expert vocal coaches
try to explain his ability to sing off the scale, they never say it’s a gift from God.
Why would they? His name is Dimash and the first song I heard was SOS. It’s very
beautiful indeed. However , he also sings in contrast. You can check him out if you want to hear something spectacular. Now to something totally different,  very
different. Check out a video HI REN. It’s a form of rap, and I think it’s brilliant.
Warning, it has a couple of swear words.Let me know what you think.

Oh I forgot , this young man sings AVE MARIA , no not that one.
This one’s has no words and he doesn’t close his mouth for the
whole performance which I think is about four minutes. It’s absolutely
beautiful. At least I think it is.

I watched REN.
The style and garbled words in the first rendition were off-putting and even frightening.
He exhibits talent but that is not necessarily positive.
Seems to be suffering from a psychosis.
Not something I would recommend.

I agree with Bob, wouldn't recommend him. He seems troubled in mind, sadly.

I just watched "sick boy."

Listen to some good hip hop jazz on YouTube, that is clean with no lyrics. That is commendable.

I agree IBob , it’s not something I would do a repeat watch.
What I saw was warfare . To me , what I saw was surely insanity but isn’t
that what the man of sin is in all beasts. Our weakened hearts
that cannot resist temptation to sin. Mental illness is big business just as surely
as physical illness is and it generates big bucks for the pharmaceutical industry.
I don’t know of many drugs that are NOT illegal in Canada, they even provide
safe places for the addicts. There are many overdoses here . I read that drug
addicts are more terrified of the withdrawal, they call it dope sick than they are
of dying.
But let’s face it, if we truly believe that all is of God , then we have to know
that this video is in the world for a reason.
Our thoughts are not His thoughts and His ways are not our ways.

Yes Mzantzi
He is depicting that he is troubled in mind.

But to parrot Ray in the teaching of Guilty of All.
“ Isn’t it easy, isn’t it easy to look down on others as though you are any better”

It is ONLY BY THE GRACE OF GOD that we do anything good at all.

We have to know what we are…… WE ARE GUILTY OF ALL
Why , because if we break one law we are guilty, not that we raped
a child or murdered someone but that we broke a law of God, maybe we
lied , maybe we lusted , maybe we have pride of life. But breaking just
one of God’s laws makes us all lawbreakers.

Only by the grace of God we were not born REN but God is the placer
and He placed REN where he is , just as He has placed us where we are
and everyone else dead and alive are placed exactly where He wants them.

Who are you O MAN,   WE ARE DIRT, ruddy clay in the hands of the Potter.
He is the Potter , we are the clay, not the other way around.

Good evening Pamela,

Thanks for your most recent two letters.
Lots of good and deep feelings in both.
I agree with all you have stated and I think that we are quite similar in our understanding.
Thanks for sharing your heart.
=  =  =
My understanding is that once we have been given the earnest of God's spirit to work in our minds we are at least somewhat of an exception to the norm. At this point we have begun to see more clearly and become more attuned to God's plan for mankind. We are then no longer strangers but friends with whom God through Christ Jesus is working.
So I do not feel in any way superior to the other people that God will deal with in a more positive manner later in their lives. However, I do feel that the indwelling spirit of God working with my human spirit is leading me away from things that are attractive to others who have not yet the spirit of God.
So in writing to others on the forum I am speaking to friends of God and am able to be a little more relaxed about my opinions.
When we say that all of humanity is enmity against God does that apply to those who have been called and chosen through the indwelling of God's spirit? Yes in the past, but what about today? Hasn't God's spirit had an effect on our lives and aren't we aware of God's desires for us in a more intimate manner? I think we are.  :)

Warm regards, Bob

Good day Ibob and thankyou for your most sincere reply .
I have been pondering all morning about why this video
has meaning, and this is what God has inspired in me.
First He shows me this video of a much troublesome and obviously
in pain , emotionally and spiritually young man.
And then shows me another video of Dimash , all dressed in white,
singing like an Angel and I know that they are both beasts.
And that God loves them both and died for them both.
God has always been showing me contrasts of good and evil
ever since He brought me to BT. And most of my studies have been
on free Will and human behaviour.
Romans 8:7.’’ For the carnal mind is enmity against God ( hostility, hatred)
for it is not subject to the law of God neither indeed can it be.
You asked if this applies to Gods called and chosen , in the present today
and hasn’t God’s Spirit had an effect on our lives and aren’t we aware of
God’s desires for us in a more intimate manner.

Romans 8:1…. There is now ( today) no condemnation to them which are in
Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.,,,, Thank God

You ask hasn’t Gods Spirit had an effect on our lives . Yes of course. God
loves us. For whom the Lord loves He chastens and scourges every son whom
He receives.
And in reconciliation He receives them all. Every Knee will bow. I am so looking
forward to that day. This chastising and scourging is very difficult, very difficult
as I am sure all here who are followers of Christ know.
And on top of that we are told we are yet carnal until and IF we even come up
in the first resurrection. So it is essential that we accept Gods chastisement
which is how He judges us. The reason we are not condemned with the
world is because we accept God’s judgements. Is this of our own fabled free Will?
From LOF Pt 2
Gen.3:22…. And the Lord said” Behold, ( consider, perceive, to know, to understand)
the man is to BECOME ONE OF US, ( Heb.for God is Elohim which is the pleural
hence us) TO KNOW GOOD AND EVIL.

knowing good and evil is one of the most essential requisites in being formed
in the image of God . To know good and evil they had to partake of its source
which was the TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL.

Even our Lord who was involved in the creation of all things ( Col.1:15-20)
and knew that He was to be the Saviour of all mankind ( 1:Tim.2:4, nonetheless
when seeing Jerusalem headed for utter destruction because of rejecting Him
and His Gospel, He wept over it ( Luke 19:41) God has pity on weak and foolish
humanity, whom He Himself created that way.

Eugene, when I saw that video ,, I wasn’t repulsed as I normally would have
been , I cried for him and all others who suffer so horribly and isn’t that the intimacy
that God wants us to have with Him, to know what true love is?
I realize that God has set apart His elect to train them up in His way, godliness,
Titus 2:11-12 … For the grace of that God brings salvation hath appeared to all
men , teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live
soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world.( eon, age)

The world still hates God and His goodness but God is a one way way street,
He expects nothing in return that we can give Him as earth bound beasts,
He has to change us. It’s His goal land teaches me that puny humans with
their fabled free Will, will bow down and worship and love and will want to have
faith . Everyone thinks we are going from good to bad when in spiritual truth
we are going from bad to good. Praise Jesus our friend, who loves us and died
for all men( humanity).

To the mods , if you feel you should remove my post leading people to view this video , it’s ok with me. It’s not for everyone I realize. I hope I have not offended
anyone , it is not my intention.

God Bless You All 💕

Hmmm, why would I produce a rap album?
Why speak in that manner?
Is it for enlightenment or just for entertainment.  :)
=
1 Cor 13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love,
I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.  ::)  (smile)

=  =

As far as my hobbies and entertainment I have the following to offer.
I enjoy concerts with others in an audience where I can understand what is being sung or played.
I enjoy soft music with variety when I am alone at home and reading or as background during a conversation.
When I was younger I owned and rode a Harley-Davidson motorcycle to work and wore leathers to keep out the cold.
I am proficient with a .45 Colt model 1911 pistol at the target range and can reload the cartridges.
I have owned several .35mm Cameras and developed my own color prints from scratch.
In 1968 my wife and I built a four bedroom house with attached garage doing our own contracting, hiring and much of the work ourselves including plumbing, electrical and heating, but not the concrete work.
Our most interesting hobby was producing and educating four wonderful children all of whom still love us in spite of my strange religious beliefs.
I am presently doing my best to learn all that I can about the wonderful future we all shall have in the family of our loving God who has promised us life without end.

So I am very happy with God's gifts and God's challenges even when it hurts like hell and I just want it to stop.

Your friend, Old Bob

Perhaps you would release it to share about your life long experiences, and us young ones would learn from them.😀

Not sure why I speak in this manner, the rap and poet man in me can't help it.😀

Speaking in this manner can be for both. 😀

Hey MZANTSI,
Lots of interesting rhythm in those selections. I'm impressed.
I used to play piano in the 1950's but my training such as it was focused on the classical.
I  finally got tired of practicing with little progress and quit at age 16. Partly because I had no kids my own age to share with other than at recitals.

This video illustrates what I tried to play. It sounds better with the bass accentuated on these old videos.

Your examples are of young people working together to make music that all can enjoy.
I especially liked the young lady with the ukulele and the parrot that became her music coach.
The man accompanying on piano was helpful also.

I will try to be more understanding about your [rappin'] in future messages.
Regards, Ole Indiana Bob

Where do you live in the US?How is it there? How are the White folks? Racist or loving? Here in South Africa, white folks are racist, they think they are above US blacks? They even stole our land and oppress us. They don't even share when God blesses them, they are not generous. My only white friends are Gina(remember her?),Kat(remember her?), Ray, Blake(do you know him?), Jesse and You.There's also Moises my friend, and nshan. All you guys are in America.

Jesse & Nshan are so amazing, they sent me aid like 3 yrs back,a total stranger, they weren't even afraid or worried that I might be a scammer. Thanks to Them, i am in a better situation now and the sky is NO limit.

I have Schizophrenia though, been in and out of the mental hospital I don't know how many times, folks trying to kill me when I tell them my Schidzophrenia is a gift from my Father in Heaven, whom I call Larry Ray Smith. They think I am crazy, but I switch their negative message about me into a positive. Basically in the rap world, when they say you are crazy they mean you are smart, intelligent. So I take that message instead.

I have many other crowns, there's just too many to mention. I can speak to both the spirits of the dead and alive. It sounds crazy and unbelievable but TRUST Me...

I am!

Mzantsi, I was diagnosed with schizophrenia in my late teens, but I denied it for a long time. I think I'm still in denial about it to some degree. I guess I was ashamed that I might be thought of as “crazy”, but I certainly didn't feel crazy, for the most part.

Furthermore, I feel “normal” for the most part, but I'm susceptible to clanging or using word salad when I think no one can hear me, and grandiosity, disjointed thoughts and words occasionally if that wasn't obvious. But the paranoia is debilitating at times. I get paranoid just logging into this forum, so I don't always log in, and I just read as a guest some days. ;) I've always been paranoid about all sorts of things. Now I have graves disease and hyperthyroidism, and it just worsens it. However, I'm taking meds for the thyroid and it helps a lot. I don't really want other meds because I'm paranoid of meds too lol. It was hard enough to take the leap into taking the thyroid meds, but fear of my heart exploding or something convinced me.

Anyway, hang in there, there's hope for you Mzantsi, regardless of where you are. I mean, you're in the right place if wanna know all the how's and why's of God having created evil. Call it a gift, call it an evil experience, call it as “all is of God”.
