Wildfires
« on: August 17, 2023, 01:24:12 AM »

Yellowknife in the NWT is being evacuated.
A town of 20,000 people. We lived there for
30 years. Everyone is advised to get out now.
My son and his wife won’t get on the evacuation
plane without their three cats so our daughter in law
borrowing her cousins car and they are driving
out in the morning. Their is only one road
out. Neither one has their licence but she can drive a little.
It will be harrowing for them. I pray for God’s will as always and I ask
you to please keep them in prayer.
I want to take this opportunity to
Ask that we pray to Our God that we love Him and that we love
each other and to give us strength to continue our journey as we
witness the suffering that’s in the world .
May God be with you all Come Lord Jesus.
In Christ, Pamela

Came across this - "Evacuation ordered as fires rage in northwest Canada"  https://youtu.be/9ycQyrp-wTc

This is all very scary Pamela. I pray God protects you and your family.

Thank you for your prayers. our Son and wife decided not to drive out
instead was told they could take their pets on one of the evacuation flights.
They stood in line with hundreds of others for six and half hours only to be turned
away because the planes were at full capacity. Last night two more planes
Came but by then my son managed to book a regular commercial flight
For today at 11 am. I pray it all goes well.
They are making already stressed people line up to register, while announcing to get out
ASAP and the fire is 16 kilometres outside of town. The people who drove out don’t have
to register until they get to Alberta. This does not make sense. They are telling people to flee
while hindering their fleeing. However it gives me great comfort to know that it’s God that’s
in control of everything . Gods will be done.

...They are telling people to flee while hindering their fleeing.

That sounds like a parable.

Keep us posted on their progress.

Pamela

Will pray for your family.  Their experience shows how unprepared a lot of communities are when it comes to coordinating what must be done.  Hopefully this will be a lesson learned for others.  Let us not lean on our own understanding but continue in our faith and trust in God for sure!

I live in Nova Scotia now and for the past two
years , we have had three hurricanes, a mass
shooting of 22 people, a major wildfire that burned
down towns. Just recently two major floods that took
lives , rain, rain and more rain, spring drought,
farms not able to produce as much, inflation,
increased rent, increased homelessness, less health care,
more crime, and of course Covid which is reported today
to be making a comeback ( a new strain)
I follow world news and American news and its
all the same (to parrot Ray) sin, crime, and corruption.

Amos 3:6…. Shall there be evil in a city( all cities,) (any cities) and the
Lord hath not done it?

Isaiah 45:7.. ….. I create Evil. I the Lord do all these things.

Jer. 21:14… I will kindle a fire in the forest thereof, and it shall devour
all things round about it. And (Ezekiel 20:47)

But we know and believe God’s use of evil always eventuates in The Greatest Possible Eternal Good

Isaiah 53:1 & Rom. 10:16… but, Lord, who will believe our report?

May our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and our Father in heaven
give us wisdom and endurance to continue to do the will of the
Father.
May our love superabound and keep the unity of the Spirit.💕

Love in Christ, Pamela
Thank you all and yes I will keep you updated.
Btw, how are you all doing? BT has been very quiet .
Albeit, All is of God.

Hi Pamela,
I read your letter and a thought came to me about God causing the evil and the suffering.
Since men are naturally evil and will commit sins eventually it seems to me that God stimulating the evil to begin sooner is a blessing.
If God stood aside, men would still commit these terrible sins against other persons, but it would probably just take much longer to get bad enough for us to have had enough.
So in kindness, God accelerates the tribulation to get it done and over with sooner.

Rom 9:28  For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.

Excellent scripture, Eugene . Yes I agree.

My son arrived safely in Calgary. And it is the city where his sister
lives with her husband and three children who
my son Matt hasn’t seen in 8 years since they were babies They are arranging a get together
and are so excited.
Bringing families together in tragedy it seems. Family is so important. Reminds of love never
fails, we may want to kill the person but the love won’t fail. ;D

My heart aches for those still evacuating and Now evacuations have begun in Kelowna, British
Columbia.

I called my sister in Newfoundland to tell her the news of
Matthew and guess what she was doing?
Watching the new cloned voice videos of L Ray Smith. ;D :D
Our God is so awesome, praise His holy name.
