Brimstone = Sulfur

Sulfur, in its native form, is a yellow crystalline solid. In nature, it can be found as the pure element or as sulfide and sulfate minerals. It is an essential element for life and is found in several amino acids. Its commercial uses are primarily in fertilizers but it is also widely used in gunpowder, matches, insecticides and fungicides.

Brimstone/Sulfer is used with fire to purify.

I hope this gives you some peace in knowing that our loving Father has no intentions of burning his children in physical fire for all eternity. Brimstone just gives us a better understanding of the purpose of the fire. Thank God we know who the fire is.

Hi Sandy as others have given you good replies I will only add that Jesus Christ is not a failure, He came to save the whole world and that is exactly what He will do. For me it simply came down to beleiving that God cannot fail and when I realized that all doutes just faded away.

God bless and trust in Him as He is trustworthy.
