My father died…but his life did not end

(1/1)

Dynamo54:
My father recently “died” at the age of 93, but his life did not “end”…in reality it is only temporarily suspended, just as it is for all those who longer draw breath.

One of the definitions of the word “end” in the New American Heritage Diection is: “The termination of life or existence; death.”

Now you see, I totally reject their definition. Termination of existence? I don’t think so! My father is asleep, awaiting a resurrection just like all of humanity that has lived and “died”. Now I expect my father will be in the white throne judgement, but what wonderful peace I have knowing that the Eternal through Christ Jesus our Lord will cause my father to resume his life for the final purpose of judgement in the lake of fire. Just like my judgement is now also through fire!

Can there be any greater understanding than that ALL humanity will be converted unto God and will live a glorious life for eternity? I don’t think there can be any greater truth than that! How loving and wondrous is the Eternal and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ!!!

Rene:
Condolences to you and your family.  Even with everything we know as believers, it is still sad and painful to experience the death of a loved one, but we can take comfort in knowing that this is also a part of God's "master plan" of salvation for all.

Porter:
So sorry to hear about your father's passing. What a blessing to know God desires not to be alone.

Isa 45:22  Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

Joh 12:24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Musterseed:
