Hi Dave, yes that’s exactly what I had in mind and a good way to look at it.  I’ve been talking to people who are trinitarians and Boy do they not like what I have to say.  So, they think Jesus raised himself since he’s the second of a trinity or some such nonsense.  I know, why am I doing this but it’s hard for me to be quiet in the face of what we know is wrong.  But, when they want to know how I can defend Jesus not being God- well, I don’t say that. I say he’s the Son of God, our Saviour and Lord, the Lamb of God.  But , Jesus did say before Abraham was, I AM.  That’s harder for me to articulate.  He’s the family of God.  What else do we need to say ?  I’m afraid it’s not enough.
