Thank you for asking.

No, feeling worse than ever, but I just started taking Nitrofurantoin last night for my infection and it's side effects are making me nauseous, weak and short of breath. I need to take it seven days so six more days of this then it's over I hope.

I got off Finasteride a few weeks ago but it stays in you for 6 to 8 months. So I will have brain fog and depression until sometime in January. My prostrate is doing better without it using supplements.

They also gave me Dutasteride which I took for just 4 days. It gave me arthritis (which I've never had) and the arthritis will still be with me until sometime in January I hope.

This is teaching me to be more patient. So something good I also hope  :)

Thank you Casey.

I should have said that the nausea only lasts about 4 or 5 hours after taking the pill.

Watched a Dr. Berg video and he said diuretics' make work shrinking a prostrate and Nitrofurantoin is a diuretic. Oh well.

Praying you get well soon Dennis and I second Casey in thanks for all you do and especially under trials. It’s so difficult. May Our Lord be with you always. 💕

Thank you.

I use test strips and yesterday mornings test showed about a 50% improvement. This mornings test showed no change from yesterday which is 48 hours total since starting the treatment and that concerns me.

I am so sick of being sick. Please pray this is over in five more days when the prescription runs out.

Yesterday morning both my kidneys started hurting. I called the doctors and they are doing a culture on a sample to determine a better antibiotic. Could take up to three days. But my right kidney is still hurts.

Google says: Nitrofurantoin Mono can build up to dangerous levels if your kidneys are already weak. When kidney function is low, the drug fails to concentrate in the urine to treat infections effectively and increases the risk of side effects.

So if I continue taking the drug I toast my kidneys. If I don't I'm back on supplements which have not worked well until I get a new antibiotic in a few more days.

I think of you always, believe me. I often wish I could do more; but prayer is all I have. Thank God. So no flesh should glory in his presence.

May God make the aches better with each passing day.

Also, I had written a long post, I reconsidered when I recalled how living in a dysfunctional body is, which I am not out of the woods of yet. I know the wishing for death ( but consider the sensitive) of whom I was and really still am.
I wanted to simply say Dennis, I never really left BT, I stayed in the shadows because Ray’s death really hit hard. I am a lousy speaker and don’t feel confident about measuring my words. So, when I see you I’ll.. it all comes back.
Not only your son needs you.

The comforting word about death paper had people even thinking I’m a stone, unaffected. I partly was because that paper truly was comforting. Then I was with a series of very close deaths, a long tiring spell. I eventually crumbled given I was unwell too. To be honest, even my own mother’s passing found me worn out, tired and just eager to get the burial done and asked to be spared the devastation. There was no person left here anymore.

I don’t check in and write these things because for a 40yr old it sounds disparaging to the hearers. I think for many it’s difficult but understandable when one thinks the mature in age suffer an ache or two. I can’t handle it. In this whole world I have God and days like this when I’m in doubt, I get so confused and realise I truly could not go on without BT.

If I’ve offended, truly sincerely I am sorry. I won’t even proofread in case I delete like before.

Also I do read scriptures and sometimes they just come to me, I spent near all my life reading the scriptures, many questions this website answered and I didn’t struggle at all 18 years ago. I still believe, I’m just feeling having laden at times.
Someone said, you really do want to live for Jesus and I dismissed it because I don’t debate nor intentionally reveal my beliefs. Ye shall know them by their friuit - I aspire to that. I sometimes think it’s all in my head (being called if I am, I try to not delve into election much because my life is already too hard. I’m not at all complaining, but I know what it means to be truly hated by household and the world. And I do not suggest at all I am without many errors. My favourite of scriptures; “chief among sinners”. That’s me.

Kindly remember me in your prayers. That’s all I need.
