The Love of God
« on: September 24, 2006, 10:44:25 AM »

This song was in my head this morning, so I thought I would share it with you.
I am thankful for God's redeeming Grace and His magnificent, unfathomable love for ALL mankind. His love and promise to redeem to you this morn,  Barbara :)

THE LOVE OF GOD
MIDI:
SCORE:

The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star, and reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care, God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled, and pardoned from his sin.

Refrain

O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints’ and angels’ song.

When years of time shall pass away, and earthly thrones and kingdoms fall,
When men, who here refuse to pray, on rocks and hills and mountains call,
God’s love so sure, shall still endure, all measureless and strong;
Redeeming grace to Adam’s race—the saints’ and angels’ song.

Refrain

Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade,
To write the love of God above, would drain the ocean dry.
Nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky.

Refrain

Oh Joy a sing along       :D :D :D :D :D
                                             :D :D :D

(Exo 15:11 KJVR)
Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

(Exo 15:12 KJVR)
Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.

(Exo 15:13 KJVR)
Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.

(Exo 15:14 KJVR)  T
the people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Philistia.

(Exo 15:15 KJVR)
Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away.

(Exo 15:16 KJVR)
Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over, which thou hast purchased.

(Exo 15:17 KJVR)
Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.

You know it Chuck ....and I even brought a band with me.

I rally miss the long praise topics that we use to have ...where everyone joined in with... the song of praise.

(Psa 18:3 KJVR)
I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

For all of us that have had our eyes and ears opened so we could come out of Babylon

Beloved, your smiley's always make me 'smile.'  You know that one behind the bass kinda looks like me.  You know, the bald one.  Then again I guess they are all bald.

Beloved,  You brought the choir and a band and I missed it.  My daughter was home from Cinncinnati this weekend and I didn't come back to see the replies.  Here's to bringing back the "long praise topics".

Acts 17:28
28   For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Brian, if the drummer had red hair, it would look just like me.
While I was still in Babylon, I played drums for the band. Because I could not tithe 10% and the drums that the church had were falling apart, I gave the church my Pearl sunburst 6 pc kit and took the church's old Royce kit. Last time I saw the Pearl's, they were covered in fingerprints and dust. :'(  :(

The guitar player with the red guitar on the end would be me. My acustic guitar is even red (burgundy)  ;D

and a one.... and a two.... and a three....

Sing unto the Lord a new song,
For He has done marvelous things.
His right hand,
and His holy arm,
Has gotten Him the victory!

Peace,

Andy

Patrick,

When I sold my 9 pc maple Gretsch kit, I cried like a houndog. I don't even want to KNOW what became of that set. I know how you feel brother... :-[

Chuck, I really thought I was somebody (puffed up). Man, I even had photos taken at the church, with me behind the kit, and sent them to matchwise (single Christian dating service).  :D
(shaking my head)

I hope the "smiley band" beat slows down a bit, I'm tired already. They have a Pantera rhythm going. I'll have to start aerobics again to keep this up.
