Did God endorsed Slavery?
Dear Reader:
Yes, and No. Yes, if we are speakingof a servant, but No, if you have reference to forced and mistreated labors as in the American slavery of the old South. There are a half dozen or more words for servants and their different order, responsibilities, etc. The King James does not translate any Hebrew or Greek word "slave." It is not found in the King James Bible. However, some Versions do use the word slave in place of "servant," in many verses. Paul considered himself a slave of the Lord, and Jesus came in the "form of a slave."
