The Difference between Theory and Practice
hillsbororiver:
Dear Jennie,
This topic really was intended to be a spoof of the "wisdom of this world" there is so much nonsense passing itself off as deep and intellectual, often this elitism goes unchallenged because not many want to admit "this makes no sense to me, there is nothing here."
1Co 3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
1Co 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
1Co 3:20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

Yes, Jennie I believe you are absolutely correct;
Gal 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Gal 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
His Peace and Wisdom to you,
Joe
