Well, that was indeed shocking and eyeopening. Thanks, Dennis for posting this.

I hope future Bible Studies will be posted as well. If you need help in making this happen, let me know how I can help.

Peace,
Jeremy

::::looks at floor and scuffles her feet::::
Kittyhawk-- thanks! I didn't even know that it was an mp3 file! feelin' kinda old right now...what I'm trying to do is get one of my kids to hook me up with an ipod...and show me how to use it....my computer has taken on some kinda virus and doesn't even show the sound card anymore! so hopefully I can download the files into the ipod...like you said and get to listening to all those files that are available! I love reading mostly...I like taking notes as I go along and being able to stop and look up things in my concordance or on my Franklin Bible....that's the speed I'm at...hopefully the force will be with me soon and I'll make Jedi speed! ;D joyce

just tried burning it onto cd to listen in car on way to work.  It is too long.  My cd's are 80 minutes.

:-[ I may be asking silly Q but is there a way around this.  Do CD's come longer?? :-[

Can Ray stop after 80 min. then start again for another one :-[

I love listening on the way to work.

thanks for any advice.

Dennis,

I am one with a slow dial-up connection.  I usually download the study at work where it is faster and then transfer it to a CD so I can listen to it in the car or at home, but this one is 3:32 too long:(.   Thanks for the idea of transferring it to an MP3 player or IPOD.  I can do that!    Did I miss the the Oct. study  in MP3 format?

I haven't tried it yet, but founs a Freeware mp3 splitter:

I recommend that you use Audacity for recording, editing and exporting the audio. The editor Audacity is an excellent choice, free to download and use.
The latest version can be found at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/.

With Audacity you also have the possibility to enhance the audio material. For more effects than the built-in effects, download and install Audacity VST Enabler from http://audacityteam.org/vst/. Free VST effects can be found at http://www.voxengo.com/group/freevst and http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/classic-series.php. In order to export to MP3 you need the free LAME MP3 encoder. LAME (yeah, they are really lame  ;D) instructions can be found at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=install&item=lame-mp3.

If you have any questions, PM me, I'm an experienced user of this program.

God bless you and keep you,
Eirik

Thank you Harry for the split and thank you Dennis for posting.  Now I can share the cd with my friend who doesn't have that capability.
