Hi fellow bt'ers
i regret that a post i started got a little away from my original intention but
truly God works all things and i need to learn how to post more carefully.
just to clear up a couple of points
first re chrissiela's list of bt'ers
only broken and peacetroll on that list have caused me serious concern
and of course not on the list
pneuma, A_Universalist and a few others i can't and don't want to recall
i get no joy from naming names however
Rom 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
if i see a snake in the grass and do not warn my fellows what use am i as a brother ?
i have noticed that the ones who bug me most don't seem to hang around long
they are kind of cut and run types.
they come on like teachers of babes then split like hirelings
may God continue to make something better out of all of us.
well i hope we all can look out for one another and find the wisdom in the word to refute things contrary to sound doctrine.
from now on till the Lord shows me better i will simply rebut error with sound doctrine as God reveals it to me and hopefully all of us here.
i would hate to see the bt board tolerate any heresy in the name of unity, i have no unity with heresy, Christ is not recorded as ever being patient or tolerant of error as far as i can see.
He certainly chastises me when i need it and i thank Him for it (afterwards LOL!)
anyway i am honoured to have recieved genuine blessings from nearly all on that list
and may we all grow in the image
