Lost and Found

[Craig]

Dear Brother Ray,

It's been almost a year since I came across your website, and I've been
wanting to write to you and tell you that I have never read such pure,
simple, honest and anointed revelation of the scriptures in my whole life.
I've read and re-read your papers along with the Word and the hundreds of
e-mails that you get and respond to and am simply amazed at what the Lord
has revealed to you. If you have a minute, I would like to share with you
my journey to your website.

In 1957 the Lord found me and began saving me, (since reading your papers, I
have found that salvation is quite a process). My first love was wonderful.
I told all my friends about this wonderful man called Jesus, who loved
me....me who never was loved before, not like this. I wanted to do so much
for Him because I was so gratefull for His salvation.

After a few years of going to various churches, I felt that I wanted to be a
preacher or missionary or something, so off to bible college I went to
become the next Charles H. Spurgeon. Well, after three and one half years
of listening to a bunch of teachings that had absolutely nothing to do with
the bible, I decided to leave and join the Jesus movement of the sixties.

I went to Los Angeles and met a man called Witness Lee who had just come
from China as a diciple of Watchman Nee who founded the "Little flock" in
China, and also wrote "The normal Christian life." There, in LA he started
what is called the church life. It was supposed to mirror the early church
where all of us lived closely together and pretty much "had all things in
common." I thought that I had really arrived at what God was doing on this
earth. I even became an elder (pastor) in one of the churches. Lee told us
that being an elder in the local church was the highest position in the
universe. Boy was I high! But you know what they say... the higher they are
the farther they fall.

Well, after several years, strange doctrines began to creep in and things
just were'nt the same. So I left the local church and went from one
movement to the next and alas! I lost my first love. And just like the
parable of the son who wanted his portion of his Father's goods, I wandered
from the presence of the Lord for several years in the pigpen of this world.
I did'nt even have the strength like he did and come back to his Father's
house. I was so low, there was no way out. Finally, one night while lying
in bed, I said "Lord help me come back." There's a verse in Isa. 65:24 that
says, "And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and
while they are yet speaking, I will hear." I began crying like a baby and
soon before I knew it, I felt the Father's kiss on my neck and the robe
around my filthy rags and the ring on my finger and I heard Him say, this is
my s on that was dead and is alive, was lost and now is found. No one can
forgive like our Father and anyone who has really been forgiven knows what I
mean.

I felt like all the years that the locust had eaten were restored and it
did'nt matter how old I was or how much I had sinned. God had forgiven me
and that's all that mattered. So I thought I had better go back to church.
But when I got back I could'nt believe what I was hearing and seeing. The
latter had become seven times worse than the former. So I thought I better
get out of here and just stay at home and watch tv preachers. But after
listening to them beg for money and condeming millions to hell including my
grandchildren, I turned them off and like Elijah I said Lord its just You
and me!

I read the Bible four times in one year from Genesis to Revelations and you
know what? I did'nt have a clue as to what it said. I felt like the
Ethiopian eunuch while reading Isa. and Philip asked him, do you understand
what you're reading? And he said how can I unless some man guide me. You
see I was blind as a bat. At least they have some sense as to where they're
going, I did'nt. So I prayed and said Lord you did'nt bring me all the way
back just so I could'nt see, did You? So like blind Bartemaeus I cried
"Jesus thou son of David, have mercy on me." And all the rulers of darkness
told me to shut up, so I cried even louder, "Jesus thou son of David have
mercy on me." And the Lord said, "what will I do for you?" And I said Lord
that I might receive my sight. The very next day as I was reading my
thirty-five year old Cambridge bible, it began to fall apart....literally,
page by page. Well, I thought its time to buy a new bible so I went to
Google and typed in the word bible. At that time, when the site came up,
on the right hand side of the screen it said, "There is no hell and I can
prove it." bibletruth s.com. Uhmmm, I thought, what is this, I better see
what this is. And guess what Ray, I SAW for the first time in my entire
life I can SEE. The Lord answered my prayer because it was His will for me
to see.

This has been quite a year for me brother. There has been one revelation
after another. I feel so humbled by His mercy and grace to be allowed to
find all these pearls and the unsearchable riches of Christ in your papers.
I can't believe all of your detractors and how they can deny the plain truth
of the scriptures that God has revealed to you. All I can do is pray for
them that one day the Lord will let them see too.

I pray for you, your family and your staff everyday. May God continue to
reveal Himself to you and give you the anointing to put it down on paper for
all of us who are so hungry and thirsty for Him.

In His amazing Grace,

Your brother Dwight,

P.S. This is hard to believe but true....I'm in my sixties, my wife is from
