    How does God use the "foolishness of preaching"?

    Dear Alice:
    By causingpeople to comprehend the foolishness of preaching
    such as mine, through His Holy Spirit opening your mind to believe
    what is preached.  It is not what is preached that is "foolish," but
    the act of human preaching. How can the words of a semi-retired
    rooffer cause people to completely and toally change their lives?
    Pretty stupid, huh?  Not when God's Spirit is behind it.
