Word of the Day Thread
« on: January 14, 2007, 03:52:54 AM »

To All,

I have been posting the word of the day for some time now.  If you are interested in it please use the poll to tell me whether you would like to see this thread continue or not.  I do not want to waste anyone's time with a thread that does not generate interest on the board.  Thanks for taking your time out to fill out the poll.

  Blessings on all of you.

  Sincerely,

Anne,
What I would really be interested in would be to see the 50,000 mistranslated words (of the King James Version Bible, that Ray talks about) and what they really mean.

(Example:  English-'adultry'=sexual sin  (vs)   Greek-'Moichai'= BREAKING A VOW OR COVENANT.)

I agree with Susan, though the word of the day thread is fine too.

Susan,

You have taught us this.  Why not share with the forum on another topic.  It would create a cool thread and would be another topic that would probably generate a lot of discussion.

To All,

Thanks for voting guys.  I am going to keep this open just a little longer.  Thanks.

 Sincerely,

Susan,

Hmmm are they going to be filled with milk and cookies?  I would love that and I am sure Longhorn would like that as well.

To All,

My dear hubby came home and I just shared this thread with him.  He kept on laughing and laughing.  Susan and Longhorn, it is official, My hubby says we are all a mess.  But he loved the thread.  I wonder what more kooky things we are going to come up with tomorrow.

  Sincerely,

  Anne C. McGuire

To All,

Since there was more interest in continuing the word of the day.  I will only post the more interesting words.  Some of them are common in usage and I really do not wish to post them here.  Thanks for voting.  Always was curious about what the poll buton would do.

  Sincerely,
