The word angel means messenger and man was made a little lower than angels. Angels are created spirit beings man was created flesh but we will be born again (Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness) born into God's family. Then we will be just like him (but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is).

Psalm 8

3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
         The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
 4 What is man that You are mindful of him,
         And the son of man that You visit him?
 5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
         And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

 6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
         You have put all things under his feet,

Hebrews 2

5 For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels. 6 But one testified in a certain place, saying:

      “ What is man that You are mindful of him,
      Or the son of man that You take care of him?
       7 You have made him a little lower than the angels;
      You have crowned him with glory and honor,
       And set him over the works of Your hands.
       8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet.

1 Corinthians 6

3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?

Revelation 19

9 Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.” 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Revelation 22

8 Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.
9 Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.

Ephesians 2

18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household (family) of God.

Peace in Christ
