Hi rick,
We have a pomeranian(black) too. She is actually my daughters, but I'm real attached to her since she's with me all day. She sits in the chair with me a lot while I'm on the computer.
A sad story I'll tell is we had a pompom before her. We had her only 3 yrs. when by a set of unforunate circimstances she got into the highway and was killed. We grieved so much for her, after a few days I started looking in the paper to see if I could find another pom pom. My daughter (her mom) was especially upset, but I have 3 daughters and we were all crying for days.
I found one newspaper add, so went to check out the litter. She had one 'black' puppy she was selling, it was tiny, there was a red brother that had already sold and there was a runt she was keeping for a while longer. Though it was only 8 weeks (young for so small a puppy to leave its mother), I knew we would be able to take good care of her, besides it I didn't get her someone else might have.
So I brought her home and surprised my daughter with her. Needless to say we all began to recover from our grief quickly. Having such a cute little (about 1 1/2 lbs.) thing. We were scared to put her down at first, because she might get stepped on, but no trouble finding someone to hold her. Of course we named her Little Bit.
She is 5 lb. now and has no trouble running with the labs in the back yard.
We gain so much from our pets, plus it's good to have something that never talks back
mercy, peace, and love
Kat
