So you think that God saves us from sickness and pain and stuff instead

Dear John:
You would do well be pay a little better attention to words. I am very careful
of my selection of words. Where did I say that Jesus "has SAVED us" already,
in the past tense?  The question was asked: "What does Jesus save us FROM?"
And I answered correctly and Scripturally. He saves (indefinite tense--it's a process
as no one is savED in the past tense until resurrection to life) us from all of those
things. The first English translations of the Scriptures knew nothing of the Latin
word "salvation." They translated it properly as "health," which meant both good
health and safety.

There is not a single word in either the Hebrew or Greek manuscripts which are the
eqauivalent of the Old English word "hell." There are many translations that do not have
the word "hell" in them, and correctly so.

Act 4:12--"Neither is there salvation [Greek: Strong's #4991, 'soteria--rescue, safety, HEALTH'] in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved [Greek: Strong's #4982 'sozo--save, deliver, heal, make whole']."

God be with you,

Ray

PS   Don't accuse me of smoking weed when you have not a single clue as to what you are talking about.
