can we start a new thread? does anyone on the board follow "american idol" i got rather disillusioned last year after chris daughtry got voted off and have only watched it sparingly this year. but whos the favorite to go all the way??? boy or girl this year??? does anyone think simon is a little hard on impressionable minds? and just who is randy jackson anyway??? never heard of the guy before idol.................

Hi Rick,

He is one of Michael Jackson's brothers, he was a member of the Jackson 5, unless of course he is some other Randy Jackson  :D

I haven't seen American Idol but if the guy looks anything like Janet, Latoya or Michael, that's him.

Wrong Jackson.  He's no relation to Michael.  I haven't watched American Idol at any point, because it doesn't interest me. Years ago, Star Search was hot, but I didn't watch that show either.  However I did watch the Gong Show.   ;D
