I think the Scripture you are looking for is:

Jhn 16:28  I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

The NIV say's it like this:

Jhn 16:28 I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.
