sight impaired

Hi

Just a general comment ......don't know why, except maybe a thought that I know people who cannot read because of eyesight[diabetics, etc], and it would do no good to point them to this website.

But, perhaps someone [that has the time] could or would like to read the messages and topics that Ray has written, and record them in mp3 or some sound format so that they would be available to those who are not able to read them to download.

Bad idea ?
Crazy idea ?
wrong forum ?

Then again, why do it if it hasn't been requested by such people ?

Guess I found my own answer to this.
I ran into an application called TextAloud that does text to sound synthesis.....not very expensive.

Orlando,

Thanks for your question and solution. :)

I too think that it would be wonderful to have both the audio and the text available.

Kathy, is doing a wonderful job of transposing audio to text, perhpas we might has someone/s :) willing to the text to audio.

Your brother in Christ,

hmm. Another thought just occurred to me.
If someone had TextAloud, they could record the output of it in mp3 .
Should be a fairly simple way of doing this type of conversion.

May our Lord shine his light on all .
