Double-pane windows

Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with those expensive
double-pane energy-efficient kind. Yesterday, I got a call from the
contractor who installed them. He was complaining that the windows had
been installed a whole year ago and I had never paid for them yet.

Hellloooo? Now just because I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am
automatically stupid. So I told him just exactly what his fast-talking
sales guy had told ME last year........ namely, that in just ONE YEAR
these windows would pay for themselves!

Helllooooo"? (I told him). "It's been a year"!

There was only silence at the other end of the line, so I finally just
hung up.... He hasn't called back, probably too embarrassed about
forgetting the guarantee they made me. Bet he won't underestimate a
blond anymore

Dwight,

Now that was pretty funny.  Way to turn their sales pitch on them.  I wonder if they are going to be more careful now and word their guarentees a little better.

  Sincerely,

Hey Anne,

Just wanted to lighten things up a little bit.....this one is funny too!

FORGOTTEN ANNIVERSARY

Ed was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary.

His wife was really angry. She told him "Tomorrow morning, I expect to
find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in less than 6
seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE".

The next morning Ed got up early and left for work.

When his wife woke up, she looked out the window and sure enough there
was a small box gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway.

Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, brought
the box back in the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom
scale.

Funeral services for Ed have been scheduled for Friday.

The Shiny-Walled Box Thingie

An Amish boy and his father were visiting a nearby mall. They were amazed by almost everything they saw, but especially by two shiny silver walls that moved apart and back together again by themselves.
The lad asked, "What is this, father?"

The father (having never seen an elevator) responded, "I have no idea what it is."

While the boy and his father were watching wide-eyed, an old lady in a wheelchair rolled up to the moving walls and pressed a button. The walls opened and the lady rolled between them into a small room. The walls closed and the boy and his father watched as small circles lit up above the walls.

The walls opened up again and a beautiful twenty-four-year-old woman stepped out.

The father looked at his son anxiously and said, "Go get your mother."

Joyce...Thanks. I think Iris' are pretty too. They are also called Flags. I love the yellow ones because when I walk out in the yard after dark, they glow in the moon light. I've taken pictures of some, but not all.

Gena... the picture you have on your avatar is really cute. Emma looks like she enjoys having her picture taken.
