The Life is in the Blood.

The wages of sin is death.

Wanna pay for your own sins?  The payment is your life. Pour out your own blood and your debt is paid, but then, you're dead.  No more life left.

Jesus offerred His Blood as a substitute for yours, and everyones.  Since He was perfect, and His blood was (is) unblemished by sin, He also has the capacity to swallow up all sin, therefore He can ransom everyone with His own Blood.

But then here's the thing, when Jesus ransoms you, He also owns you.  That also means that He, and ONLY He can truly set you free. Whom the Son has set free is free in deed.

Jesus was willing to pour out His own Life so that we might all live life, ransomed from sin, that is why God the Father gave Him authority over all life, because God the Father is not willing that anyone should perish, and Jesus was totally committed, even to the pouring out of His own Life and Blood, to bringing the Father's will to pass in the experience of man.

WHen God gave animals to man for food He also gave us a commandment, that we should not eat them with their blood.  God does not want us to partake of the depths of the nature of mere animals.  But when Jesus said eat My body and drink My blood, He was saying that God wantsd us to partake in the very depths of His nature, His Life, and His character - to the uttermost.

The Life is IN the BLOOD!

The Blood flowing through us clanses us constntly from the things that would poison us, if they were not cleansed away and removed from our body.  The Blood carries oxygen to every living cell.  The blood regulates our temperature, carries hormones and brings rejuvenation to the whole body.  As it is in the natural, so is it in the spiritual, because the natural was made from the spiritual.  The "Blood" of the Body of Christ is the Holy Spirit, and when He poured out His Spirit on all flesh He also sanctified all of humanity.

We're here just touching the surface, but...

Does that help?

do you have e-sword ? it is so very useful for following a word through scripture.

Rev 1:5  And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Rom 5:8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9  Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Eph 1:7  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

1Pe 1:18  Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
1Pe 1:19  But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
1Pe 1:20  Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
