Hello, Group

If y'all could see the smile on my face right now. I am absolutely overwhelmed at the responses to my dilemna, you all will never know. You have truly blessed me, and have reminded me of the love of God. I thank all of you who responded, but I want to especially give a shout to Kevin, Harryfeat and Bobby. Your testimonies have blessed me so, and helped me to believe that my family and I can and will get through this tough time ahead. My heart goes out to y'all, and I am comforted in your continued faith and trust in the Lord despite those terrible trials.  This is why I don't need to go to "church" no more. My fellowship with all of y'all is priceless.

Thank you again, group, and God bless you for your faithfulness. I'll be reading these posts for encouragement very often.

chrissiela:
Wow, DJ. I'm so very sorry for what you are going through. I can't really add to what has already been said... except to add my prayers. So know that I add my prayers to those of the others here.

Blessings,
Chrissie

Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. 2Co 1:2-7

i was thinking about it and also this verse encouraged me

i have had a tendency to focus on the more painful side of existence and i believe God has encouraged me to look also on the blessings

of course it's only since the lies of Babylon departed that it's been possible

Phi 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Phi 4:7  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Phi 4:8  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Phi 4:9  Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

and it's so true after 20 odd years stranded in Babylon finally i actually sense that
